How fast do mobility scooters go?

If you struggle with your mobility, a mobility scooter is a great way to get from A to B with very little effort, and most often at a faster pace than walking. 

One of the questions we get asked a lot from prospective scooter users is “How fast do mobility scooters actually go?”. The answer to this varies depending on which scooter you choose, which we over in this article. 

How fast do mobility scooters go?

To answer this question, it’s important to note that mobility scooters come in different categories and ‘classes’, which affect how fast they can go. 

Let’s take a look at each category. 

Travel & Foldable Mobility Scooters
