How much does servicing cost on an electric wheelchair?

If you’re looking at purchasing an electric wheelchair, you’re probably wondering how much it typically costs to service your chair, and how often a service should be completed.

In this article, we’ll set out Felgains prices for electric wheelchair servicing for our range of electric wheelchairs. Just as important as the price itself, we’ll also explain how it works and what you’ll get for your money!

Firstly, how often should you service your electric wheelchair?

If your powerchair is used regularly, we recommend that it is serviced once a year.

This will ensure your chair is kept in good working order, and any faults or problems are rectified before damage occurs.

What does an electric wheelchair service include?

Am electric wheelchair service is like an annual health check. We’ll make sure all the mechanics and electrics are in full working order, including the motor, battery, steering, brakes and lights. All wiring and connections are inspected, as are the tyres and wheels.

All being well, we’ll be able to give your electric wheelchair a clean bill of health and you can be confident you’re driving a mobility vehicle that’s safe and reliable.

Do Felgains service electric wheelchairs from other companies?

No, we are only able to service electric wheelchairs that we have been purchased from Felgains.

This is because we only have access to spare parts and servicing software for the brands of powerchairs that we provide. Thankfully, we sell a large range of powerchairs form multiple brands – check out the range here.
