Drawbacks of the X850 Corpus 3G
- Not 4-wheel drive – The X850 is rear-wheel drive, which could mean that it will be less capable off-road than the Outback, which is 4-wheel drive.
- Much larger turning radius than the Outback – The X850 has a rather large turning radius of 3.56m, which is much wider than the Outback’s turning radius of 1.25m. This could make the powerchair harder to manoeuvre, especially in tight spaces.
- Less ground clearance than the Outback – The X850 has 25mm less ground clearance than the Outback, which could lead to certain obstacles or kerbs being insurmountable on the X850.
- Larger than the Outback – The X850 is up to 58mm wider and between 123-323mm longer than the Outback, depending on whether the base is extended. This could make storage and transportation difficult.
