Where can the Outback Powerchair be driven?
- In the countryside – Whether you’re taking your dog for a walk or exploring wooded trails, the Outback effortlessly drives where standard powerchairs struggle. Watch the video above to see the Outback in action through wooded trails!
- Muddy and wet trails – Even in wet conditions, the Outback doesn’t let up. While we wouldn’t recommend submerging the Outback in deep water, it can cope easily with puddles and boggy ground, thanks to its covered and resistant chassis.
- Up hills and slopes – Dreaming of scaling the mountains? Even up challenging slopes and hills, the Outback can go where no other powerchair can, thanks to its large grippy tyres and high-torque 4-pole motors.
- Up kerbs – The Outback has an impressive 125 mm of ground clearance, so can climb kerbs with ease.
What are the Outback Powerchair’s limits?
- Not suitable for indoor use – Due to the size of the Outback Powerchair, we don’t recommend it be used for indoor use unless you have a lot of space to manoeuvre!
- Not suitable for deep water wading – As mentioned above, we don’t recommend driving the Outback in deep water, as this could damage the electronic and mechanical functions of the chair.
