  The Invacare Action 5 Active Wheelchair is designed for the more active individual, looking for an affordable chair with great drive performance and the ability to fold easily for handling, storage and transportation purposes. Key features include a unique folding mechanism with the stability of a rigid chair, in a highly configurable frame with quick step-less adjustability. With it’s two new advanced innovations and lightweight construction, the new Action 5 gives you a wheelchair you can enjoy and rely on. 

  Unique folding mechanism

  The innovative design of the chair allows the frame to greatly reduce in size and the backrest to fold on top of the seat, making the chair compact. No additional handling is required to fold the chair, making it effortless for storage and transportation.

  Stability of a rigid wheelchair

  The ‘H-Shaped’ horizontal folding mechanism provides an improved level of stability compared to other folding wheelchairs on the market. The self-locking function ensures a secure seat position and makes the chair far easier to propel effectively improving drive performance.

  Adjust the chair whilst you remain seated

  The Action 5 wheelchair’s clever design allows backrest angle adjustments to be made whilst the person remains in the chair. The step-less adjustability makes it easy to ensure the perfect fit for you, while the built in scale allows for a more accurate backrest angle to be set for postural comfort. It’s also available in a spectrum of seat sizes from paediatric to larger models, making the Action 5 a great solution when accommodating narrower and longer or wider and shorter specifications.

  Make it personal

  There are a variety of vibrant colours available to choose from, allowing you to design your wheelchair around your personality. The Action 5 can also be configured based on your individual needs, starting from selecting a more active look with the fixed frame, or the swing away version for even easier folding and transportation. The Action 5 wheelchair is cross compatible with other Invacare products including the Alber power add on range.
