Background to the project

Is this a world first? A recently completed hoisting project… nothing unusual about it, except it’s red!

City College Norwich is a college of further and higher education in Norfolk, and is one of the largest colleges in the UK. 

In the specialist teaching spaces at City College Norwich, it was important to introduce some vibrant colour which coordinated with other furnishings.

Felgains were delighted to be selected to supply and install the ceiling track hoisting for the project. Each visible component was painstakingly disassembled to its barest form before being powder-coated in a specified RAL colour.

The project team at Felgains drew on a wealth of product knowledge and experience to design the tracking layouts with the aid of computer-aided design.

Project Outcome

Felgains successfully supplied and installed the equipment on time ahead of the official opening of the new teaching areas.
